US Spring Tour with The Preservation Hall Jazz Band

My Morning Jacket will be touring the Southeastern United States this Spring, including a performance at this year’s Jazzfest in New Orleans. The band is honored to announce that the historic Preservation Hall Jazz Band will be supporting them on the run.

Tickets for the shows go on sale next Friday and Saturday, February 5th and 6th.

How You Can Help Haiti

As our fans know, Haiti was devastated by an earthquake on Tuesday, January 12th. We wanted to let you know that there are many ways that you can help both the short-term and long-term relief efforts. Below are several that My Morning Jacket supports, and you can too. For immediate support, these recovery organizations have been mobilized, and are raising funds to aid in their relief efforts: Oxfam, Doctors Without Borders, Wyclef Jean’s Yele Foundation. In these situations, however, crucial long-term recovery and rebuilding efforts can be underfunded in comparison to immediate relief efforts. These organizations have staff in the country and are well-positioned to aid Haitians in their long-term recovery: Partners in Health, Fonkoze, and The Lambi Fund of Haiti.
